About the Ministry of Muggles

Founded in September 2005 by dental students Julia and Sam, the Ministry of Muggles is Cardiff University's official Harry Potter society.

The society works hard to provide a wide array of socials for its members, both Harry Potter-themed and otherwise. We regularly have quiz nights and discussions, as well as cinema trip and big events such as our trip to the Goblet of Fire premiere in 2005. In December 2006, we hosted our first Yule Ball and were joined by several other societies. Of course, this doesn't happen by magic, and is all down to the committee, a group of students from all over the university who make this all possible.

The Committee

These are the people to ~~keep an eye on~~ look out for; the committee are responsible for making sure that everything runs smoothly. If you have any suggestions for the society, feel free to talk to the committee members at one of our socials. Don't be afraid! We don't bite ~~much~~ and we can be identified by our prefect badges.
